When launching a blog, consider the big picture. You must write about something you are truly interested in if you want to inspire yourself to blog on a regular basis. Your efforts and your entire blog content strategy will quickly fizzle out if you choose a topic only because it is profitable or popular.
It's acceptable if you're unsure about what to blog about right away. Start with a short brainstorming session on topics you are interested in. What topics thrill you when you talk about? What is it you'd really like to know more about?
Now, list the first five to ten things that you are interested in. For the purposes of illustration, let's say:
Travel
Cooking
Family
Music
Hiking
Next, consider your more focused interests related to these topics and include them in your list. Your modifications may resemble this:
Southeast Asian Backpacking
bringing up twins
independent rock tunes
Trekking in the Canadian Rockies
It's premature to worry about these niches being flawless. In the following steps, you'll conduct an additional in-depth study on them. (If you need inspiration, though, have a look at how some well-known art blogs use their platforms to reach out to audiences who are passionate about the same things.)
